HRI Community Job Board Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 27, 2026

The HRI Community Job Board is a free community resource provided by Human Resources, Inc. (“HRI”) to help connect local employers with job seekers throughout Northwest Washington.

By submitting a job opening to the HRI Community Job Board, you acknowledge that you are authorized to submit the position on behalf of the employer and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Free Community Job Posting

There is no charge to submit an eligible job opening to the HRI Community Job Board.

Employers do not need to be current HRI clients to participate, and submitting a job posting does not require an employer to purchase staffing, recruiting, placement, or other services from HRI.

Submission of a posting does not create a staffing, recruiting, employment, agency, placement, or other professional services agreement between HRI and the employer.

2. Authority to Submit a Job

By submitting a job posting, you represent that:

  • You are authorized to submit and advertise the position on behalf of the employer;

  • The position represents a legitimate employment opportunity;

  • The information you provide is accurate and current to the best of your knowledge; and

  • You have the right to provide any job descriptions, logos, images, links, or other materials included with your submission.

Employers may not submit positions on behalf of another organization without authorization.

3. Authorization to Publish & Promote Your Posting

By submitting a job opening, you authorize HRI to publish and display the information you provide on the HRI Community Job Board.

You also authorize HRI to reasonably format, organize, or edit the posting for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, presentation, and website formatting.

HRI will not intentionally make material changes to the position, compensation, qualifications, or other substantive employment terms without contacting the employer.

You also authorize HRI to promote your published job opening through HRI's website, social media channels, email communications, job-seeker communications, and other reasonable community or recruiting outreach channels.

4. Compliance-Focused Posting Review

Before publication, HRI may review submitted job postings for completeness and common employment-advertising compliance concerns, including potential concerns involving applicable Washington State and federal requirements.

If HRI identifies a potential concern or red flag, HRI may contact the employer for clarification or request that the employer review or modify the posting before publication.

HRI's review is intended only to identify common job-posting concerns. It is not legal advice, a legal review, or a certification or guarantee that a job posting or the employer's hiring practices comply with applicable law.

Employers remain solely responsible for ensuring that their job postings, recruiting practices, hiring decisions, compensation practices, and employment practices comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Employers should consult qualified legal counsel regarding specific legal or compliance questions.

5. Employer Responsibility for Posting Information

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information contained in their job posting, including, as applicable:

  • Job title and duties

  • Employer/company information

  • Job location

  • Compensation or pay range

  • Benefits

  • Schedule and shift information

  • Employment classification

  • Qualifications and requirements

  • Application instructions

  • Hiring timeline

  • Any other information provided to HRI

Employers agree to notify HRI if information contained in a published posting becomes inaccurate or materially changes.

6. Posting Period

Community Job Board postings will generally remain active for 30 days from the date of publication, unless:

  • The position is filled;

  • The employer requests that the posting be removed;

  • The employer informs HRI that the position is no longer available;

  • HRI determines that the posting should be removed under these Terms; or

  • Other circumstances make continued publication inappropriate.

At or near the end of the 30-day period, HRI may contact the employer to determine whether the position remains open.

If the position has not been filled, HRI and the employer may review whether the posting should be extended or renewed.

Extensions are not automatic, and HRI reserves the right to determine whether a posting will remain on the Community Job Board.

7. Managing, Updating or Removing Your Posting

Employers may request that a Community Job Board posting be updated, corrected, extended, or removed at any time.

Community Job Board postings are managed by HRI, so employers do not have direct editing access to published postings.

To request a change or removal, please contact:

Human Resources, Inc.
Email: MV@hrcorp.net

Please include your company name and job title so HRI can identify the appropriate posting.

HRI will make reasonable efforts to process requested updates and removals promptly.

Employers are responsible for notifying HRI when a position has been filled, canceled, materially changed, or is otherwise no longer available.

8. Applications & Applicant Information

The HRI Community Job Board is intended to help employers make their opportunities visible to job seekers.

Employers are responsible for reviewing applicants and making their own interviewing, selection, hiring, employment, and compensation decisions unless the employer separately enters into a written staffing or recruiting agreement with HRI.

By participating in the Community Job Board, the employer acknowledges that applicant information may be submitted through HRI and transmitted to the employer for consideration for the posted position. Receipt of applicant information does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the applicant by HRI unless HRI and the employer have entered into a separate written recruiting or staffing agreement.

9. No Guarantee of Applicants or Hiring Results

HRI does not guarantee that a Community Job Board posting will:

  • Receive a particular number of views;

  • Generate applications;

  • Generate qualified applicants;

  • Result in interviews;

  • Result in a successful hire; or

  • Fill the employer's position within any particular period.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, individuals responding to Community Job Board postings have not necessarily been interviewed, screened, reference-checked, background-checked, assessed, endorsed, or recommended by HRI.

10. Prohibited or Inappropriate Postings

The HRI Community Job Board is intended for legitimate employment opportunities.

HRI reserves the right to decline or remove postings that HRI reasonably believes contain inaccurate, misleading, deceptive, discriminatory, unlawful, inappropriate, or offensive information; misrepresent compensation or working conditions; promote unlawful activity; appear fraudulent; or otherwise conflict with the purpose or standards of the HRI Community Job Board.

11. Right to Decline, Edit or Remove a Posting

Submission of a job opening does not guarantee publication.

HRI reserves the right to request additional information before publishing a posting and may decline, suspend, edit for clarity, or remove a posting when reasonably necessary to administer the Community Job Board.

HRI may also remove postings that appear to have been filled, expired, abandoned, or become outdated.

12. Authorization to Contact You

By submitting a job posting, you authorize Human Resources, Inc. to contact you using the contact information you provide for purposes related to your Community Job Board submission.

This may include communications regarding:

  • Questions or clarification about the position;

  • Potential compliance or posting concerns;

  • Requested changes;

  • Posting approval or publication status;

  • Updates or expiration of the posting;

  • Whether the position has been filled;

  • Applicant-related matters; and

  • Other communications reasonably necessary to administer your Community Job Board posting.

Submitting a Community Job Board posting does not automatically enroll you in HRI marketing communications or obligate you to speak with HRI about staffing services.

Any consent to receive ongoing marketing communications from HRI may be requested separately.

13. No Staffing or Recruiting Agreement

Participation in the HRI Community Job Board does not establish a staffing or recruiting relationship between the employer and HRI.

If an employer would like HRI to actively recruit, screen, evaluate, interview, refer, or place candidates, those services may be offered separately and may require a separate written agreement and applicable fees.

Using the free Community Job Board does not obligate an employer to use those services.

14. Changes to the Community Job Board or These Terms

HRI may modify, suspend, discontinue, or change the Community Job Board and these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes will apply prospectively as appropriate. The version available on HRI's website will reflect the current Terms & Conditions.
